We've seen some stills and posters, but here's the first trailer for next year's "reimagining" of Wes Craven's A Nightmare On Elm Street, produced by Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes, directed by Samuel Bayer, and starring Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy "One Two Coming For You" Krueger.

All the main beats from the original seem to have been fully recycled: the girls singing the skipping rhyme; the glove scraping the boiler-room pipes; the scene in the bath; the ceiling-crawling bedroom scene.

The film is released in the States next April.
