Just ahead of the footage screenings of "Avatar Day" today, you can get a sneak peek at what's in store in the sci-fi spectacular.

In a near-wordless trailer, we see crippled ex-Marine Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) meet his blue, half-Na'vi "avatar" and then get his consciousness stuffed into the alien body. Thence he transfers down to the beautifully constructed planet of Pandora, where, it's fair to say, all hell soon breaks loose.

For more footage from the film, you'll have to head along to an ‘Avatar Day' site today, or travel back in time and get tickets to our Movie-Con last weekend. The film's now out until December 18, which by our count is not nearly soon enough.
