The SOUNDTRACK Team would like to congratulate composer David Beard on winning the first annual SOUNDTRACK Film Scoring Prize, in association with SONY and The British Council.

David attended the festival as a guest of SOUNDTRACK and the Film Agency for Wales, and was presented with his £1000.00 prize at the reception for The Mind's Eye at the Wales Millennium Centre, where Gabriel Yared and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales performed in tribute to Anthony Minghella.
