‘My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done’ Trailer
Everybody may be talking about the release of ‘Bad Lieutenant: Port of New Orleans', but Werner Herzog has slipped another movie in under the radar, the peculiar named (and David Lynch produced) ‘My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done'.
The film stars Michael Shannon as Brad McCullum, who stabs his mother through the chest with an antique sword. It's based on the true story of Mark Yavorsky, but adds around 70% fable to the mix (he said so himself!)
From the looks of this trailer, this will be as dark and as complex as Herzog usually is, but with perhaps more matricide than usual. There's no UK or confirmed US release date yet, so for now your best chance of seeing this at the Toronto Film Festival.
