‘Survival of the Dead’ Clip
From www.empireonline.com
‘Survival of the Dead', the sixth in George A Romero's zombie saga, premiered in Venice yesterday (the first horror film to be up for the Golden Lion since Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde in 1932), now's perhaps the perfect time to bring it to your attention.
The series has always been satirical, but this chunk is pure slapstick, and reveals little, other than the indisputable fact that fishing at night during an undead Armageddon can be detrimental to your health.
Survival takes place on Plum Island, where rival clans the Muldoons and the O'Flynns are duking it out over the details of staying alive. Alan Van Sprang's military outfit arrives and gets caught in the middle.
