The SOUNDTRACK Film Scoring Prize

4th August 2008

Are you an aspiring musician with an interest in film, or maybe a film student with a particular interest in soundtracks?  If so, read on!

The Soundtrack Film Festival, in association with The Screen and Sound Archive of Wales, are pleased to present The Soundtrack Film Scoring Prize.

Open to all ages and across the globe, The Soundtrack Film Scoring Prize is your opportunity to create an original score for a clip of archive film, and be in with a chance of winning £1,000.00!

Entrants will be provided with a piece of archive footage, courtesy of The Screen and Sound Archive of Wales, for which an original score will need to be created.

Submitted scores will then be assessed by a panel of experts, with the winner being screened at the inaugural Soundtrack Film Festival in November.

To receive a competition pack containing a DVD copy of the archive footage and details on submitting your entry, please click HERE http://www.soundtrackfilmfestival.com/contact-us to go to our online contact page , where you'll need to provide us with your name, age, contact details and postal address.  All entries will need to be received by Friday the 31st of October.

Good luck!
